Pilsung Dragon Martial Arts, located in Springfield, MO is under the instruction of Mr Dave Ivison, 2nd Degree.  PDMA offers training in Chon Hon form Taekwondo, Pilsung Taekwondo, and Okinawan Kobudo.   More training options will become available with time, as Mr Ivison furthers his training.

Mr. Dave Ivison began his martial arts career in July 2004, under the instruction of Master Dan Perry, at the NPTA Training Center and National Headquarters in Springfield, MO.  In May 2006, at the recommendation of Master Perry, Mr. Ivison tested for, and received his Black Belt from Grandmaster Kang Rhee in Memphis, TN.  Mr. Ivison passed his test to become an NPTA Certified Instructor of Taekwondo in May 2007, earned his 2nd Degree in July 2007, then in August became the 2007 NPTA National Champion.   In June 2008, Mr Ivison earned an Instructor Certification in Okinawan Kobudo, for the weapons in the "small blades" category.  He continues to train and teach at the NPTA Training Center and National Headquarters, and is planning to test for his 3rd Degree early in 2009.

Mr. Ivison wishes to thank his wife, Shawna, and their children Lillie, Bubba, Aaron, and Alex for their support and sacrifice throughout his martial arts career.
